 The Central Election Commission continues specialization courses on right to vote organized for the chairpersons of the district election commissions according to the order signed by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on approval of National Action Plan for human rights protection in the Republic of Azerbaijan”. First Deputy Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Rustam Usubov made report on legislative system considering responsibilities for violation of right to vote and types of responsibilities on the fourth day of the specialization courses. He made recommendations to the chairpersons of the district election commissions. 20 criminal investigations were launched during the parliamentary elections in 2005. “The criminal investigation was launched because of mistakes committed by the members of the district election commissions and polling station commissions while drawing the protocols. Please fill the protocols correctly. The courses began on August 23 and the election officials will receive certificates completing the courses.
